In memory of Jerry Charles Pieters, donations are being accepted towards sarcoidosis research at the Cumming School of Medicine.
Jerry was born on April 5, 1951, in Tillsonburg, Ontario. He spent his early years growing up on the family’s tobacco farm. In 1974 he moved to Burlington, where he resided until his passing. He dedicated over 30 years as a real estate agent, proudly helping families find their special home.
Jerry had a passion for golf and was an avid sports enthusiast, often seen watching and cheering on his favorite teams. He was a dedicated Rotarian for a number of years as well as a past President of the Appleby Tennis Club. He cherished the camaraderie of his friends in the men's group at Crosswinds Golf Club and the annual Pinehurst golf trips.
Jerry's humble and friendly personality endeared him to many. Even in his retirement, he found happiness in social interactions while working at Walmart, where he enjoyed being around people as a store associate. Jerry leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be forever treasured by his family and friends.
