Gloria Elizabeth Fournier loved animals. She said they are honest, loyal and faithful. She loved her cats, dogs and especially horses. Horses where an enormous passion. She rode them, raised them and as a massage therapist, enthusiastically took excellent care of all animals. Her wish was to help all animals. Accordingly, this fund has been set up to help those with the same zeal and passion to fulfill their studies in veterinary medicine so they also can help animals with kindness, courage and love that Gloria cared so much for.

Thanks to the advocacy of Gloria’s husband, Andrew Bebris, and the generosity of Gloria’s community, an endowed fund has been created. Enough income has been generated to support the award on an annual basis and to maintain the Fund’s real capital value, after inflation, in perpetuity.
