Donate to the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute
One in two Albertans will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. We need transformative change in the way cancer is prevented, detected and treated.
The new Calgary Cancer Centre is our opportunity. At over 1.3 million square feet, the centre will be the largest of its kind in Canada. But bricks and mortar are only the beginning.
Together, we can establish Alberta’s role as an international leader in cancer care, research and innovation. The new Centre will be a one-stop-shop for integrated cancer care, consolidating and expanding upon existing services and translating new research findings into best clinical practice and improved patient outcomes.
Our strength is in our partnerships. The University of Calgary, Alberta Cancer Foundation and Alberta Health Services have partnered together for the OWN.CANCER campaign to raise $250M over the next five years in support of the patient care and research vision of the new Centre. The Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute is leading these research breakthroughs that will positively impact patients with cancer and their families, now and well into the future.
Through this page you can support the Cancer Research Greatest Needs fund to help the Charbonneau Institute be nimble in meeting the cancer challenge through research and education. (If there is a specific research area or project you would like to support, please make note in the Comment box)
Thank you very much for being a part of this once-in-a-generation opportunity to OWN.CANCER together.
